Taking pictures of old, abandoned yet beautiful buildings. That’s how you could describe Urban Exploration. It has become very popular in Belgium the last few years. Wim Van Den Eynde (33) started going on Urban Exploration trips in 2010. In February 2014 he will host an exhibition where he will share the beauty of those buildings with the public. The exhibition will take place at the cultural centre of Sint-Joris-Winge.

In his opinion Belgium is a very good country for Urban Exploration. “There are a lot of very old, abandoned buildings and most of the time, the furniture is still to be found in those buildings. It doesn’t get any better than that.” He’s is also the founder of the website www.urbanexploration.be where you can follow his every move.
