You might think the pictures above are part of a lookbook of some kind of cool brand. Well, you’ve never been more wrong. The woman in the pictures is Eva Youmbi, a young fashion editor who was born in Cameroon. She currently resides in France. Youmbi contacted Cameroonian photographer Mbeng Ngassa to do a shoot in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. Her idea was to get out of a taxi and pose in front of a group of bikers. Not that spectacular one would think. Wrong again. In Cameroon there’s a new law which states that police can arrest a woman if she’s indecently dressed. Many women have been already arrested while going out. I applaud Eva Youmbi and Mbeng Ngassa for this action. Pretty strong statement if you ask me.
