Prince has been in the game for a while to say the least and he isn’t going anywhere quickly. His two new albums are the perfect proof of that statement. ART OFFICIAL AGE & PLECTRUMELECTRUM both hit stores yesterday. The former is Prince‘s 34th solo album while the latter serves as the debut LP from his new band, 3rdEyeGirl.

ART OFFICIAL AGE is a classic Prince album. It’s a gentle mixture between soul, funk & R&B. PLECTRUMELECTRUM, on the other hand is an electryfing funk-rock statement. The album consists of 12 tracks that have been performed during the band’s UK tour earlier this year and which were recorded live and to analog tape.
