Gloria Boateng, the 25-year old Ghent-based singer who performed at Sgizet Festival in Hungary this summer, did a remarkable duet on Belgian television earlier this week. In Café Corsari, a late night show on Belgium’s national public broadcasting channel VRT, she performed a soulful version of Dusty Springfield’s hit song Son Of A Preacher Man and was accompanied by none other than the world-renowned Jef Neve on piano.
