The name MellowHigh might not ring a bell immediatly, but when I say this trio consists of Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis and producer Left Brain you know their songs will be worth a listen. MellowHigh is the newest project of the alternative rap group Odd Future and started of as MellowHype which only consisted of Hodgy Beats and Left Brain.  The song that I chose, Extinguisher will be on MellowHigh‘s selftitled debut album which drops October 31st. I love this song because it has an oldschool sound to it, a 90’s type of beat and raw lyrics. It’s suprising how the MellowHigh trio succeeds in being a breath of fresh air in the rapgame by bringing back old school rap.
