Filmmakers Lennart Stuyck and Ruben Vermeersch received the award for Best Belgian Documentary at the Docville Festival in Leuven yesterday. In their documentary ‘What About Eric?’ they follow the energetic Eric Kabongo, a young Congolese Belgian artist, who dreams of a career in music. Using the alias ‘Krazy-E’, he tries to make a name for himself. The 52-minute long documentary sucks you into Eric‘s world. A world of joy and laughter but also one of pain and anger.
