The Kente cloth has always been closely linked with Ghana. Jesse Frimpong, who was born in Ghana but moved to Canada at a very young age, is trying to introduce this traditional fabric to the world. A couple of years ago he started a streetwear label called Streetchief. The mix between traditional clothing and contemporary fashion gives that unique vibe to this emerging brand.
