Dutch designer Daan Roosegaarde has created an illuminated bicycle path based on Vincent van Gogh’s painting The Starry Night. The solar-powered path consists of thousands of twinkling stones covered with a special paint that absorbs energy during the day. The kilometer-long bike path, which was created using both glow-in-the-dark technology and solar-powered LEDs, is located in Brabant, the Dutch county where the world-renowned painter was born and raised.
