The Nike Air Force 1 is a legendary sneaker to say the least. The silhouette serves as a trophy of how it flawlessly blended hip-hop and basketball culture and today has just as strong a following in China as it initially did in America & Europe. Since it’s introduction in the 1980s, Nike has made it a tradition to celebrate the Chinese New Year with special edition releases. This year, they will honor the heritage with this ‘Nai Ke’ Air Force 1 High.
The colorblocking applied to the model is as traditional as they come but a red suede swoosh peeks out to throw some texture into the mix. The extra flair is provided by Chinese lettering embroidered on the heel tab, which seals the deal. Check it out below and be on the lookout for this pair in mid-January.
