Back in 2013 Bbc Radio 1’s Zane Lowe sat down to have a chat with Kanye West for the first time and it turned out to be one of ‘Ye‘s most infamous interviews to this day. You might recall it as that one time Kanye said he’s the number 1 rockstar on the planet. Tonight the two met again and it was a totally different ball game. It comes at a time where Yeezy is much more at ease with himself (and the world). No yelling nor bragging, just a humble Kanye West who talked with a lot of respect about people he looks up to such as Drake, Paul McCartney, Raf Simons & Louise Wilson, the belated course director of the prestigious Fashion MA at Central Saint Martins in London. The latter passed away in May 2014 and when Zane Lowe started talking about her Yeezy teared up and the interview was paused. The two also talked about tearing down the walls of fashion, ‘Ye’s forthcoming album, working with Paul McCartney, Drake and the Grammys. Check out the interview below.
