I came across Oluwami back in February when she released Queen Shit, the leading single of her forthcoming EP CROWNS. The confidence in her voice, her sultry vocals and her refreshing sound which she calls Soul-Trap instantly turned me into a fan. Yesterday the Nigeria-rooted, New Jersey-based songstress premiered the video for Queen Shit via Solange‘s Saint Heron and the visuals are just as stunning as the track itself. Shot and directed by The Afrolombian she has a party on her own and struts and dances around the room rocking a green turban, various pairs of shades and a fur coat (Queen Shit, right?) while being surrounded by black balloons and confetti.
