London-based spoken word artist and overall creative Kojey Radical has finally released the visuals for his latest piece titled Bambu. Sometimes an artist breaks boundaries that most of us can’t even see and that’s exactly what Kojey Radical did in this great parody of your everyday “I got money” rap video.
Bambu centres around ideas of perception; using contemporary dance and performance art to gesture the struggles of inner city decay and how that is translated and celebrated within music and urban culture combining the aesthetic of a modern fashion film with the stylised movement and grittiness of drill music and trap videos. Check out Bambu below.
