Back in January I caught wind of a kid from Chicago called Appleby. His single Drinkin’ was and still is one of my favourite tracks of 2015. This time the young singer/songwriter/rapper returns with an breakup anthem as he shares another one of his talents with us. Bitter Boy sees Appleby taking on the role of the narrator, delivering a fine piece of spoken word which seamlessly transcends into a chorus that taps into the burn of bad endings.
