The Antwerp-based hip hop collective Weardo is back at is as they present a new emcee to the crowd. I’ve been wanting to hear more from Woods aka Woodie Smalls ever since I heard his guest appearance on K1D‘s Free Loner, a stand-out track from his debut EP The Chronicles.
Yesterday the young rapper unveiled the debut track off his forthcoming EP Soft Parade which is set to release on May 24. The KijkenMag-directed video for Champion Sound sees him kicking it with some friends in his hometown Sint-Niklaas. His laid-black flow and the catchy chorus may have just landed Woodie Smalls a summer anthem. Check out the video below.
