This Saturday (September 3) it’s time for another edition of Laundry Day. What once started out as a small event in one of the coolest streets of Antwerp, Kammenstraat, is now a mass event with 130 artists performing on twelve stages. We selected five acts that will definitely make your Laundry Day a great day.
Faisal
There’s no better way to kick off your Laundry Day than with a set by Stu Bru DJ & producer Faisal. Turning heads with productions, bootlegs and edits that go worldwide and drawing influences from a wide array of genres for his sets makes him one of Belgium’s biggest upcoming talents.

AbrahamBlue.
Abraham Blue’s signature lo-fi beats and sultry vocals earned him a co-sign ofSoulection and landed him various gigs in London including a performance at the Lovebox Festival. Soulection affiliate and renowned producer J-Louis remixed a couple of his songs and he made a thumping tune with PYRMDPLAZA at the Red Bull Studios in London. His live perfomances are always on point and he frequently perfoms unreleased material which sounds even better than the stuff he already released.

BMB Spacekid
As well as shutting down a Boiler Room session, Spacekid BMB, known to his parents as Dmitry Semenov, and one half of LA-based funksters NxWorries, Anderson .Paak, spent a few days in the studio with none other than the legendary DJ Premier. The 26-year old Russian native produces P-funk-laced feel-good sounds worthy of a love train in a groove-all-night Cali club.

TheColorGrey
Belgian hiphop has been on the rise for a year or two now and TheColorGrey aka Grey is definitely one to watch. His debut EP Do The Right Thing highlighted his storytelling skills & was a strong entrance from a promising artist. It also got him a record deal with Warner Music Belgium.

Darrell Cole
Darrell Cole is one of Belgium’s hiphop pioneers and his videos were one of the first Belgian hiphop videos to be seen on music channels like TMF & MTV. In 2014 he moved to the sunny Barcelona to focus on his music in peace. Now the rapper is back and his future is looking brighter than ever.
