Joshua J has been making music since forever. At the age of 12 he started producing & dj’ing. Now, eight years later he started his own record label (CMP Records) on which he just released his debut album ‘1998’. His previous single ‘Lock My Door’ received praise from none other than Dr. Dre so it’s safe to say this kid has got a bright future.

On his Instagram Joshua said that ‘1998’ is basically his life story on a record and he wasn’t lying when he said that. A lot of tracks on the album are very introspective and the whole body of work is without a doubt a nice introduction to an artist that has a story to tell. Give the project a listen here.
