Since the start of the lockdown(s) we’ve seen a whole lot of shitty live sessions on Instagram, YouTube & Facebook but once in a while you might stumble on a gem just like we did when we discovered Brussels-based singer/rapper Mia Lena.

Before Covid-19 hit, the young artist had plans to release a debut EP, but for obvious reasons she postponed the release. “The lockdown triggered me to postpone my plans & to still release songs so people could get to know me” she clarifies.

The DIY videos mixed with Mia Lena‘s soothing vocals & genuine lyrics are a match made in heaven & a perfect prelude of what’s about to come. “These demos are a great way to explore my artistic abilities & to build an audience before I release my first few singles in 2021.”
